Bansko

Bansko town has around 120 cultural and historical monuments and it is well located for day trips to many other beautiful places including the Rila Monastery, the wine growing region of Melnik or simply walking.

The Pirin National Park which is rich with its lakes, waterfalls, caves, venerable trees, historical sites and birds is stunning during the summer and is transformed into a winter wonderland when the snow falls for the season.

There are many opportunities for activity holidays with canoeing, mountain biking, horse riding, all available in the local area as well as a brand new mineral spa pool in Dobrinishte, only 5 km's away.

The ski area in Bansko caters for all levels of skier or boarder with lovely wide pistes, many of which are tree lined and there are many off-piste opportunities. it is the idea place to learn how to ski or snowboard.
